SUMMARY:The New AEC Playbook for Trade Shows
DESCRIPTION:The New AEC Playbook for Trade Shows Fireside Chat with Stacy Edmundson\, Red Door Three\n\nJoin SMPS Wichita for a fireside chat featuring Stacy Edmundson of Red Door Three to help optimize and strategize for trade shows. \nWednesday\, May 13\, 2026 \n11:30am-1pm \nLocation: Icon Structures\, 114 N Wabash Ave\, Wichita\, KS 67214 \nIn an era where digital tools can model a skyscraper in seconds\, why is the handshake still the most powerful tool in your kit? Join us for an exclusive fireside chat with Stacy Edmundson as we deconstruct the evolving landscape of AEC trade shows. As the industry moves from simple ‘lead counting’ to a ‘return on relationships\,’ the traditional trade show season has transformed into a year-round strategic cycle. We’ll dive into how to be make the most impact before\, during\, and after the show\, how to get your technical team engaged\, and how the trade show landscape is changing. Whether you’re looking to leverage new ‘digital’ tech or brush up on your trade show presence\, learn how to turn the modern trade show circuit into your firm’s greatest competitive advantage. \nAbout Stacy: \nStacy L. Edmundson founded Red Door Three in 2014\, which started as a home-based business that quickly grew and moved to the perfect space in her hometown of Andover. She enjoys touring the facilities of clients to learn more about what they do\, interacting with the people who make it all happen and solving clients’ problems while providing as much value as possible. Stacy is passionate about manufacturing and all it has to offer\, and she recently served as the President of the Wichita Manufacturers Association (WMA) and continues to volunteer her time in helping the manufacturing community. Recently\, Stacy sold her business to Trade Show Savvy\, LLC a trade show management company headquartered in Grapevine\, Texas. Trade Show Savvy combines a proprietary SaaS platform with hands-on exhibit services — helping exhibitors plan\, manage\, and execute their trade show programs. This is a natural extension to all that an exhibit house can offer to clients. Great news is\, we will continue operate in the Kansas facility\, retain the existing team and be able to continue to offer that boutique experience to our clients. \nFun Facts \n\nLoves spending all day cooking for an evening of entertainment with family and friends\nEnjoys doing food tours when she travels for fun\, including trying new food and drinks and learning about the restaurants’ history\nIs a certified forklift driver\, which aids in the loading and unloading of shipments at Red Door Three\n\nSMPS Wichita members are encouraged to bring a firm leader or principal to this event at the member rate. It’s a perfect chance to introduce firm leaders to the value of SMPS involvement! \nLunch will be provided and sponsored by Kaw Valley Engineering.
