Jeff is currently a Vice President with the TranSystems. The Area Leader over our Wichita and Independence, KS offices, Jeff has client management and project management responsibilities as well. Jeff has been with TranSystems for nearly 15 years and is involved in a number of organizations including, SMPS, NSPE, ASCE and the Rotary Club of Wichita.

Morgan Cabral joined Mahaney Roofing Company in January of 2014 while still perusing her education. She graduated in May of 2016 majoring in Human Resource Management. When Morgan is not at work she enjoys traveling the world with her husband.
Michael Frimel, Director of Business Development at WDM Architects, is extremely passionate about what he does. Socially, a self-proclaimed conservative extrovert, he is obsessed with current politics and enjoys a wide variety of friends.
Stacy recently joined Zernco as part of the Business Development team. Zernco, Inc. is a commercial general contractor and specialty construction firm based in Wichita, but many projects are located throughout the United States due to the successful relationships that they maintain with many nationally recognized brands.
Stacy will play a pivotal role in event planning, marketing, recruitment, and training. She has over 7 years of marketing and project management experience primarily in the non-profit sector. Stacy looks forward to growing the Zernco team while sharing the family-friendly culture and leadership-based experiences. Stacy graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2009 with a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
After 15 years working in the operations side of Eby Construction, Brian decided to take the leap and begin working on the business development side. The thing he enjoys most about business development is being out on the front edge of construction, building relationships with clients and providing solutions to their construction needs. Being new to this aspect of construction, SMPS Wichita has provided a great network of peers and educational programs to help sharpen his skills in marketing Eby’s services.
As Marketing Coordinator for Eby Construction Company Erin’s main responsibilities include assisting in generating proposals, creating marketing materials, managing social media and the company website and organizing company events. Erin graduated from Wichita State University with an Integrated Marketing Communications degree and joined SMPS shortly after starting at Eby in 2015.
As the Marketing Coordinator at SJCF Architecture, Jordan’s main focus is strategic business and marketing goals in order to promote the firm and cultivate new business and client relationships. She creates print and digital marketing materials, works with professional staff on presentations and business interviews, and assists in planning internal events to encourage a fun work culture. Her background includes experience as a marketing professional at the Museum of World Treasures in Old Town Wichita and the Kansas City Renaissance Festival in Bonner Springs, KS. She earned her Communication degree in 2012 with an emphasis in Journalism and a minor in English from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS.
Vice President of Marketing for CLC Lodging. Responsible for developing programs that facilitate company wide-lead generation, utilizing multiple channels including marketing automation, co-registration, pay-per click ads, etc. Also responsible for marketing strategy and plans, development of new strategic partnerships, and all marketing efforts for new product development and release. Founding member and Past President of SMPS Wichita. Formerly with GLMV Architecture (2000 to 2011). 2009 Wichita American Marketing Association Marketer of the Year – Architecture, Real Estate, Construction Industry Winner. 2010 Wichita Business Journal “40 under 40″ recipient.
Brett Weller heads up marketing and communications for Hutton Construction, one of the top construction companies in the Midwest. Brett’s responsibilities include website management, advertising, social media, press releases, proposals and other marketing initiatives. Originally from Clay Center, Kan., Brett is a graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in Communication.
Ross Link joins Buckley Roofing Company with over 10 years of construction experience and a degree in business and finance, which together have given him a unique and optimistic drive for the industry.
This is in suit with Buckley, a great company founded on hard work, exceptional quality and honesty which is evident in the decades of great business partners. In his role as Service Manager, Ross has been tasked with the implementation of new software for our service technicians, foreman and project managers that allow customers to view their roofs, inspections, and roof history through a customer portal.
Jon Goering is anything but new to the AEC Industry, and many may know him already. The Director of Marketing + Training Organizer + Leader of all things Graphic, Print and Web Related at Knipp Equipment Inc. Leading the marketing and training divisions at Knipp, he enjoys the variety of work and a team of wonderful people.
Hannah Scott is a Marketing Coordinator at Building Controls and Services, Inc. She attended Wichita State University and graduated with a degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications, and feels excited to be part of BCS, an incredible company that is growing daily!
Lauren Clary is the new Marketing Associate at Professional Engineering Consultants. Lauren is focused on PEC’s website and social media, along with helping to put together proposals. She’s excited to get involved during their 50th anniversary!
Candace Wilson is the Marketing Coordinator for heavy and industrial contractor, UCI. She manages all things marketing for the company – both to internal and external clients.
Erin is a graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She has been with Wilson & Company since 2006 and currently manages the firm-wide marketing efforts for the Survey, Geospatial, and Remote Sensing Division.
Lindsay Young is the owner of nu marketing llc. nu marketing was created to help small to medium sized businesses take their strategic and marketing plans to a new and unique level. nu marketing looks at a company’s entire business plan from operations to accounting to sales and marketing to human resources and helps guide business owners to make the best decision for their company. Lindsay’s expertise includes strategic marketing plans, post project portfolio, trade shows, event planning, customer surveys, proposals, presentations, social media, and customer relationship management systems.
Tami is the marketing director for iSi Environmental and sister company iSi Industrial Services. Tami coordinates and supervises iSi’s marketing efforts, including branding and advertising, special events, websites, social media, CRM databases and trade show participation. She also assists the sales team in generating proposals and price quotes.
Crystal Carroll is the Marketing Coordinator for LK Architecture and has been with the firm since 2006. She is responsible for overseeing all marketing and public relations activities for Wichita’s largest A/E firm.
Brent Thomas wears two hats at Ruggles & Bohm. He is a licensed landscape architect, overseeing design for site planning and public projects, but also assists with firm marketing and business development. His expertise includes site planning, visualization/ graphics, planting design, parks and recreation design, master planning, and, generally, making projects look good. He currently serves as treasurer for SMPS Wichita.
Charles Carr is the Director of Visual Communication for GLMV Architecture, a full-service firm providing architecture, programming and master planning, LEED design, interior design and landscape architecture nationwide. I have been marketing professional services since 1989. I started with a ten person firm, then went to a 30 person firm and helped grow it to almost 50 professionals. I have learned a great deal in the last 22 years but SMPS continues to provide “aha” moments for me. And for that I am grateful!
Erick Wheeler is currently working with Johnson Controls. In his spare time, Erick loves to spend time with his family and friends and is involved in his church. For recreation, he loves football, hunting and attending his daughter’s high school and club volleyball tournaments.
Rebecca’s work experience and qualifications are diverse. She has found a balance of professionalism, willingness to learn, and sense of humor put her in good stead no matter the situation. Rebecca has been a member of SMPS Wichita since 2012.
Catherine Rocky, CPSM, Professional Geologist, is a full time National Account Manager for Terracon. She is a South Dakota School of Mines graduate in Geological Engineering and has hands-on personal experience with the environmental, geotechnical, construction materials testing and facilities services Terracon provides nationwide.
