Erick Wheeler is the Sales Manager for DEN Management Co., Inc. and has been involved in sales, marketing and management in the HVAC construction/service industry for 21 years in the Wichita market. His responsibilities include business development, marketing and public relations for DEN. Erick specializes in service & maintenance contracts, building automated controls sales, construction projects, energy management systems, and has started the DEN Green Team to work with local businesses in developing green standards and solutions to reduce energy and water consumption for existing buildings. In his spare time, Erick loves to spend time with his family and friends and is involved in his church. For recreation, he loves football, hunting and attending his daughter’s high school and club volleyball tournaments.
Gina Newsham is the Business Development Coordinator at Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. She started her A/E/C career with KVE her senior year of college as an Intern. Near her graduation in May 2010, an opportunity to work full-time with the firm came up and the rest is history. Her responsibilities include project/client development, proposal production, conferences/trade shows and marketing materials design.
Jason Van Hecke is the Director of Business Development and an Associate Principal at WDM Architects. Jason has been with WDM for close to 5 years. Jason is able to use his past architectural experience to bring to his role of promoting WDM to the community. Jason has a Bachelors of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Business Administration from Wichita State University.

Lindsay L. Young is a founding member and served as president of SMPS Wichita. She specializes in marketing plans, cultivating relationships, communications, meeting and event planning, and customer relations. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, riding four wheelers, and playing golf.
I enjoy what I do as a business development professional for Terracon. Coming from a lcoal government background the transition into the private sector has been an interesting one but my work has been very rewarding. I truly enjoy those I interact with in our industry.
I have been marketing professional services since 1989. I started with a ten person firm, then went to a 30 person firm and helped grow it to almost 50 professionals. I have learned a great deal in the last 22 years but SMPS continues to provide “aha” moments for me. And for that I am grateful!
Susan is a graduate of Wichita State University with a bachelor degree in education. She has over 12 years of experience in sales and marketing. She has a broad background in healthcare, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, banking and accounting. She is active in the Wichita Manufacturers Association, Society for Marketing Professional Services, serves on the Foundation board for the local chapter of National Association of Women in Construction, and serves on the board for the Construction Financial Management Association.
Tami is the marketing director for iSi Environmental. She’s responsible for iSi’s branding and advertising programs, CRM database, trade show and special event participation, and oversees iSi’s communications coordinator. She also generates proposals including typical service proposals, SF330, contractor prequalifications and multi-volume/large scale proposals.
